It is often placed behind standard sleeping pillows (such as 50 x 70 cm, 60 x 60 cm, ...), creating a full, neat and luxurious hotel-style bed presentation.
In addition, the traversin provides extra support when sitting up in bed, for example while reading or watching TV.
